Overview
Lisbon Drainage Tunnels (PGDL)
Construction of two major stormwater tunnels (Monsanto–Sta. Apolónia and Chelas–Beato), 5 km in length. Delivered by Município de Lisboa with Mota-Engil / SPIE Batignolles International on a design-and-build contract. Enhances flood protection and climate resilience in Lisbon. Compliant with EU tunnelling and water-industry standards.
